“Puma” and “Ghost” keep bringing themselves to my attention in the swirl of environmental data. I figured I should bring this little ghost back from the dead. I had deleted it from this blog, but found a copy haunting old files.
Puma is married to none
and is her own mistress
she keeps her own
council and makes her own mischief.
Padding softly
on downy paws
armed with raking claws
she goes wherever
she will
and like a ghost
vanishes
on slopes
of golden grassy hills.
